Think you can’t write music?
Think again...
Through icompose.org you can learn about and use Figurenotes©. Developed in Finland, this revolutionary music notation system can be used by children and adults alike to read music, play an instrument and create new tunes, even if you’ve never composed before. Entries in conventional notation are, of course, also welcome.
Look out for Figurenotes resources online when iCompose 2011 launches in September.
Drake Music Scotland is bringing Figurenotes to Scotland through funding from the Scottish Arts Council Inspiring Communities Fund.
